Creature

A single animalistic character. It could be a monster for your horror story, a alien pal, or a unique wild animal.

Species

A much more explored creature/character design. We determine aspects such what marking variations they could have, behaviours, diet, intelligence, habitat, and much more.

Humanoid

A character with human characteristics. They will be commonly be bipedal, use tools, and speak a language.

Environments/ World

From post-apocalyptic to fantasy, every story needs a well-fleshed world. We can design places that show how a city runs, a world went to ruin, or the wilderness of a alien planet.

Terms of Services

Hello there! We’d like to thank you for considering Anxious Hollow for your art commissions. Before we move forward, here are all the terms we ask that you agree to before we start working together! Please ensure you read them <3

  • Please be aware that we intend to show the art we create for you as future commission examples and portfolio pieces.

  • If you do not wish for us to display your commission, just let us know! We’ll happily oblige :)

  • We will NOT use your commissions for any monetary purposes outside of our transaction.

  • Anxious Hollow consists of two artists that divvy up the work as needed. Total commission slots equate for our total availability combined.

  • We will be deciding internally who is better suited to fulfilling your request after discussing what you are wanting.

  • After reaching out to us we will try to get back to you straight away or at least within the 24 hours of contact and if we fail to do so please allow a maximum of 5 days

  • After establishing communication with each other we will remain within the 24 hour availability and give you a maximum of two weeks to respond before we assume termination of contract.

  • To make sure you’re not at a loss we will cease all continued work until you get back to us and refund the remaining amount after the 2 weeks of no contact.

  • If you wish to have us continue work on the commission after a cancellation. You’ll be able to do so by applying again when our slots are back open.

    • We will draw slight NSFW content (suggestive, lewd).

    • We will not draw full NSFW or fetish content.

    • Everything else is fair game!

    • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. (don’t be a red flag).

    • All payments are calculated from AUD (Australian Dollars)

    • Payment is needed up front as a secured deposit before we begin to work.

    • Please do not come to us if you cannot afford it. Look after yourself first.

    • Unfortunately we will only be accepting payments through PayPal with no intentions of using other payment methods at this time.

    • Complexity fees could occur for more complex and detailed requests. This will be when we’re asked to do something way out of our depths and it takes us a lot longer than usual.

    • If your piece is over $100AUD you will be eligible for a split payment. (e.g. half at the beginning and the rest before sending though the final documents)

    • Higher payments can qualify for multiple split payments if we deem it necessary.

    • In the event that you wish to pull out of our contract together, We will need a reasonable notice ASAP so that we can cease further work on your commission. The following will determine the refund eligibility:
      - If the commission has not been started we can offer a refund with a 10% cancellation fee (10% of $5 commission = 0.50 loss).
      -If we HAVE started to work on your commission. For example, We’re halfway done on a $100 full color commission and you inform us you would like to pull out. Then we will consider what stage in the commission we have reached (sketch, line, color, etc.) and refund the cost that the remainder of work would be worth.
      -If the commission is at completion or in the middle of the final stages, you will not be eligible for a refund.

    • The prices we offer are the set prices and will also be seen on the invoice we send to you. We will not haggle.

    • There will be NO charge backs

    • During the commission process you are inclined to a revisionary period at each stage of the drawing (sketch, lines, flats).

    • We will send you updates at each stage to show you how its going and ask if you want anything changed.

    • We will limit you to a max of 3 changes per re-visionary period.

    • If you aren’t worried about the specifics, you can opt out of updates and we will hold off until the end where we can only allow minor changes at that stage.

    • All re-vision stages will not be sent in full resolution and can contain watermarks to ensure final payment is received before sending you the full files.

    • Before starting your commission we will ask if it’s for Commercial or Personal use.

    • We do accept commercial commissions and will discuss the price changes this will entail over email

    • Prices will change depending on the commercial purposes

    • Otherwise we do not allow the re-sale, re-licencing or any AI training of our artwork.

    • We will NOT use your commission for any monetary profit outside of our transaction.

    • Our art is not to be altered or re-purposed without our consent.

  • Anxious Hollow is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

    We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

    What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

    Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect includes names and email addresses

    This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including [Direct correspondence, by email, via our website www.anxioushollow.com.au, or any of Anxious Hollow's other public pages where transactions would occur eg. Patreon, Etsy, Ko-Fi, Paypal etc.] and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

    We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure.

    We will NOT need to collect any personal information unless neccesary for our transactions and services.

    Sensitive Information

    Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.

    Sensitive information will be used by us only:

    • For the primary purpose for which it was obtained

    • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose

    • With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.

    Third Parties

    Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

    Disclosure of Personal Information

    Your Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:

    • Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and

    • Where required or authorised by law.

    Security of Personal Information

    Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

    When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

    Access to your Personal Information

    You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.

    Anxious Hollow will not charge any fee for your access request.

    In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

    Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information

    It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
